English: A chart of Lord Howe Island,discover'd by Lieut. Henry Lidgbird Ball, in His Majesty's arm'd tender Supply on the 17th Feby. 1788.Single sheet. Engraving. Scale circa 1:45,000 (bar). Bar scale in miles. Ungraduated chart. North at 302 degrees. Latitude and longitude ('by moon & star') stated and variation given. [Latitude error is 4 minutes, longitude error only 1 minute.] Soundings shown. The chart contains an inset view: A view of Lord Howe Island.
