America, with the tracks of His Majesty's Sloop Discovery and Armed Tender Chatham; commanded by George Vancouver Esqr. and prepared under his immediate inspection by Lieut. Joseph BakerSingle sheet. Engraving. Scale circa 1:1,000,000]. Graduated, Greenwich meridian. Sparse soundings. Additional Places: Vancouver Island, Strait of Georgia, Queen Charlotte Sound, Nootka Sound. Contents Note: Shows tracks for April to October 1792 and May 1793, Inset: Entrance of Columbia River [ca. 1:300 000 (bar)], Inset: Grays Harbour [ca. 1:150 000 (bar)], Inset: Port Discovery [ca. 1:150 000 (bar)].

8cm off left side is missing. Originally bound in a folio atlas of 16 charts and views, appendix to 'A voyage of discovery to the north Pacific Ocean 1790 to 1795', publ. 1798. Placenames give a flavour of the voyage: Disappointment, Destruction, Flattery, Deception, Desolation, Caution, Protection and Friendly Cove.
