| Description |
Deutsch: ehem. Haupzufahrt zur historischen Flint-Kaserne der US-Armee und zur ehemaligen SS-Junkerschule. Der die beiden Tortürme verbindende Spitzbogen war eines der prägenden Elemente des Tores und wurde als eine der ersten umfassenden Abbruchmaßnahmen der nicht unter Denkmalschutz stehenden Anlage noch vor der Jahrtausendwende abgerissen. Den Bogen hatte die US-Armee noch in der zweiten Hälfte der 1980er Jahre auf der Innenseite mit aufwendiger bayerischer Lüftlmalerei verschönern lassen. Mit dem Abbruch des Bogens, wurde diese Arbeit zerstört. |
