Description
English: One of the four sculptures in Batocera longhorns & Goliath (1996), by Elizabeth Thomson, mounted on the exterior of Te Manawa, Palmerston North. Polychrome and bronze. Sculpted from specimens originally from Queensland, now in the collection of Te Papa. Commissioned in 1996 as part of the Gertrude Raikes (1882–1985) Bequest.
