Notes
  • Significance: It is a reinforced concrete T-beam structure that was constructed as part of a federal program to construct railroad overpasses at high traffic, at-grade railroad crossings on Federal Aid highways. This structure was one of the first constructed under the National Industrial Recovery Act in Montana and remains the longest concrete T-beam bridge in Montana in 345-feet. The bridge retains excellent structural integrity, maintains all of the structural features indicative of the style and still serves in its original capacity. The bridge, moreover, retains two reinforced concrete bents of unusual design, but is common to skewed reinforced concrete bridges of the 1930s.
  • Survey number: HAER MT-114
  • Building/structure dates: 1934 Initial Construction
