Left to right, they are: Esther Mullaney (in charge of the recreation programme at the hospital), PBP R Covey, T/S W A McKinney, Pfc M Hartigan, Reg Hawkins (foreman of the wood mill at the nearby Westlands Plant, who helped the men with their work) and Mrs P E Reiss (British organiser of local hospital and welfare work). Among the items on display are a reclaimed plexiglass photo frame and several toy animals. |
