Description
English: A German Sturmgeschütz III that was captured during January-February 1945 in the Battle of the Bulge by the U.S. Army's 104th Infantry Division, here seen in service with the 104th Division. The Americans have added concrete armour, and a large white star painted on top to avoid fire from friendly aircraft. This photo was taken by a U.S. Army journalist embedded in the 104th.
