English: Title: Brest, city of France in Lower Brittany with one of the Kingdom's largest ports in a large bay.
Handwritten cartographic material of the city of Brest and fortifications.
Français : Titre : Brest, ville de France en basse Bretagne avec un des plus beaux ports du Royaume dans une grande Baye, et un Chateau sur un rocher Escarpé. La rade peut Contenir 500 vaisseaux de ligne, mais l'entrée en est difficile ; les anglois tenterent en vain de s'en emparer en 1694. Cette ville est sur un bras de mer a 12 li : S.O : de Morlaix : 12 N: O de Quimper, 48.0 de Rennes, 129 O. de Paris.
