Deutsch: Denkmal Jan Hus – Weg der Versöhnung, für den böhmischen Reformator Jan Hus und seinen Freund und Mitstreiter Hieronymus von Prag in Konstanz. Das Denkmal der tschechischen Bildhauerin Adéla Kačabová aus Hořice hat die Form eines Kelches in Flammen und steht vor der Konstanzer Lutherkirche. Die Lutherkirche steht auf dem Weg, der den Konstanzer Münster (in dem am 6. Juli 1415 das Todesurteil über Jan Hus gesprochen wurde) mit der Stelle verbindet, an der Jan Hus am Scheiterhaufen verbrannt wurde. Das Denkmal wurde am 6. Juli 2015, dem 600. Todestag von Jan Hus, feierlich enthüllt.
Čeština: Socha Jan Hus – cesta ke smíření, na památku Jana Husa a jeho přítele a spolupracovníka Jeronýma Pražského v Kostnici. Socha české sochařky Adély Kačabové (Střední průmyslová škola kamenická a sochařská v Hořicích) ve tvaru kalicha v plamenech je postavena před Luterským kostelem v Kostnici. Kostel stojí an cestě spojující Kostnickou katedrálu (kde byl 6. července 1415 mluvený trest smrti pro Jana Husa) s místem Husova upálení. Pomník byl slavnostně odhalen 6. července 2015, 600. výročí smrti Jana Husa.
English: Monument Jan Hus - path of reconciliation, for the Bohemian reformer Jan Hus and his a friend and fellow Jerome of Prague in Konstanz. The monument by the Czech sculptor Adéla Kačabová from Hořice has the shape of a chalice in flames and stands in front of the Lutherkirche. The church stands on the way connecting Konstanz Cathedral (where on July 6, 1415, the death sentence on Jan Hus was spoken) with the place Jan Hus was burned at the stake. The monument was solemnly unveiled on July 6, 2015, the 600th date of death of Jan Hus. |
