  • Significance: Although the East Broad Top Railroad established train service to Saltillo in 1874, the railroad's existing station building was constructed in 1892. The building was altered in 1908-09; but its present configuration dates from extensive modification made in 1913. At that time, a new concrete foundation supported floors of the freight and the newly extended passenger and office sections of the building, the bay window was added, and the roof peak was raised to enlarge the station's attic...
