Description
Deutsch: Innenansicht der röm.-kath. Pfarrkirche hl. Josef am Pius-Parsch-Platz im 21. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Floridsdorf.
Der Stahlbetonbau wurde nach den Plänen des Architekten Robert Kramreiter ab 1936 errichtet (Grundsteinlegung am 20. September), am 19. Dezember 1937 fand die Benediktion (Segnung) statt und erst 1958 erfolgte die feierliche Konsekration (Weihe) durch Weihbischof Dr. Josef Streidt. Während des Zweiten Weltkrieges wurde der Sakralbau schwer beschädigt, jedoch wieder aufgebaut und 1955 im Inneren vollständig renoviert. Von 1983 bis 1985 wurde die Kirche generalsaniert (Weihe des Volksaltars am 12. Oktober 1986). Auf dem linken Seitenschiffaltar befindet sich die von von Alfred Crepaz (1904–1999) geschaffene Figurengruppe „hl. Josef als Zimmermann mit Jesuskind und Kirchenmodell“ und dahinter ein Mosaik von Gottlieb Schuller (1879–1959): [1]. Der Altar im rechten Seitenschiff besteht ebenfalls aus einem Mosaik und einer Muttergottesfigur.
