Description
Deutsch: Kaltwalzer-Denkmal in Hagen-Hohenlimburg, am nördlichen Brückenkopf der Stennertbrücke Eingang Lennepark. Eines der Wahrzeichen von Hohenlimburg, gestiftet von der Hohenlimburger Kaltwalzindustrie. Entworfen und in Bronze gegossen 1960 vom Krefelder Bildhauer Prof. Theo Akkermann (1907–1982). Am 2. Juni 1961 aufgestellt und eingeweiht. Die 202 cm hohe Skulptur zeigt einen Kaltwalzer in seiner typischen Schutzkleidung mit einer Bandstahlrolle. Im Hintergrund die katholische St. Bonifatius Kirche im Weinhof. Als Gegenstück zum Kaltwalzer steht der Warmwalzer auf der anderen Seite der Stennertbrücke.
