Infanteriofficerssabel m: 1850 (1861) Ungern.
Description
Svenska: Fäste av slätt, förnicklat stål. Kappa sexkantig med platt, oval nitknapp, kappan övergående i ryggbeslaget. Parerplåt plan, lika bred på båda sidor om krysset och övergår i den något inåtböjda, platta handbygeln som är intappad i kappan. Parerplåten övergår baktill i en platt bakre parerstång, vari två skåror för portepé, änden nedböjd och inrullad med tre räfflor.
Kavel med nio räfflor, klädd med svärtat fiskskinn, lindat med försilvrad, tunn koppartråd. Intill parerplåten profilerade ringbeslag av stål. Stötlapp av röd sammet.

Klinga av damaskerat stål, tämligen smal, böjd, eneggad. Ryggen breddad vid det 255 mm långa spetspartiet som har två hålkälar. Vid spetsen är ryggen snett inskuren mot den uppåtböjda, vassa udden. Vid klingbasen på yttersidan inslaget ett märke i form av en sittande ekorre i ovalt fält (möjligen Carl Eickhorn, Solingen). På starka delen på båda sidor en långsträckt, förgylld kartusch med inskription av arabiska bokstäver, vid kartuschens ändar en stjärna resp. en halvmåne.

Tillbehör:
Portepé av gult skinn, klätt med galon av guldtråd vari tre smala ränder av svart silke. Tofsens platta holk av guldtråd, broderad med Österrikes örn och monogram F J (kejsar Franz Joseph).
