Description
Deutsch: Vom Wegübergang Am Außenhafen Richtung Nordnordost, die Deichschart im Hintergrund ist die Sturmflutgrenze. Wegen der Überflutungsgefahr sind die mechanischen Sicherungsanlagen im Bahnhof Emden Außenhafen beibehalten worden. Sie verkraften die Überflutung deutlich besser als alle elektrischen Einrichtungen. Die Verkehrsdichte ermöglicht die Nutzung eines Gruppenausfahrsignals problemlos.
Die Einfahrweiche ist eine Doppelweiche DW 54-190-1:9 mit Holzschwellen. Gittermastsignale wurden von der Deutschen Bundesbahn bis zuletzt aufgestellt, wenn der Platz ausreichend war. Die Deutsche Reichsbahn verwendete dagegen seit dem Ende des zweiten Weltkrieges zur Vereinheitlichung nur noch Schmalmasten.
