Deutsch: Ostnordostansicht der Trabrennbahn Krieau im 2. Wiener Bezirk Leopoldstadt.
Der Trabrennplatz in der Krieau, ein Teil des Praters, wurde am 29. September 1878 eröffnet. Nachdem die ursprüngliche hölzerne Tribünenanlage in die Jahre gekommen war, wurde sie von 1912 bis 1913 durch die Architektengemeinschaft Emil Hoppe, Marcel Kammerer und Otto Schönthal erneuert. Der Zielrichterturm als letzter Bauteil wurde erst nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg im Jahr 1919 errichtet. |
