Kyritzryttarens svanskappa

Description

Svenska: Svanskappa, hörande till Kyritzryttarens utrustning, vilken ingick i Karl X Gustavs begravningståg den 4 november 1660.
Svanskappa i två, något välvda, avlånga (vardera ca. 12 cm breda) och sammansydda delar av naturfärgat/brunt läder. Svanskappan är klädd med svart silkessammet som är vikt över kanten mot baksidan (7-10 mm bredd), och är fastsydd i lädret med grov tråd.
Dekor med kronor, broderade med metalltråd och lan och påsydda på sammeten. Kappan är något bredare i ena änden och har snedskuren och rundad avslutning.
Längs båda långsidorna finns avlånga, platta, mettallkrokar fastsydda med grov tråd. Totalt 14 st. krokar, vardera ca. 45 mm långa, avslutas i spetsig form i den ena änden.
Sammeten är nött och sliten, på stora partier saknas luggen. Stora delar av sammeten är överklädd med tunn silkesslöja.
En ögla av skinn är fastsydd i vinkeln där de två delarna är sammansydda.
