English: A short movie depicting the organization of radial peripapillary capillaries in the retinal nerve fibre layer of subject 3 right eye in the nasal region. The movie is compiled from seven svOCT images taken at sequentially increasing depth starting from the vitreal surface of the retina. The images have been cropped to an area of 636.5 x 636.5 microns. Continuous white lines running in parallel orientation and horizontally across frames 4 to 7 depict signals generated from the speckle variance from the red cells movement within the radial peripapillary capillaries. A large white band may be seen in frames 6 and 7 and depicts a major retinal vessel in the deeper level of this field in the ganglion cell layer. |
