Notes
  • Significance: Construction of the Snoqualmie Falls Hydroelectric Project began in 1898 near the falls of the falls of the Snoqualmie River. It was the first power plant successfully constructed completely underground and one of the first plants in the northwest to transfer power to a distant market. The Snoqualmie Power Company completed the project in 1899 and it has been in continuous operation since then.
