Summary[edit]

Description The people of Machynlleth wished to celebrate the coming of age of Charles Stewart Vane-Tempest, Viscount Castlereagh, of Plas Machynlleth. In response the Machynlleth Town Clock was built in the 1870's as a result and remains the hub of the town.
