DescriptionMarine Corps’ chaplain addresses congregation at Marine Week Cleveland 120617-M-ZB219-017.jpg |
English: Rear Adm. Margaret G. Kibben, deputy chief of Navy chaplains and the 18th chaplain of the Marine Corps, thanks attendees of Cleveland’s Old Stone Church on the last day of Marine Week Cleveland June 17. Kibben stressed the importance of community support for service members returning home from deployments and thanked those in attendance for supporting the more than 750 Marines who made Cleveland their base for Marine Week Cleveland. Rev. Dr. R. Mark Giuliano, senior pastor of the church, supported Kibben’s call for the community to be a presence in the lives of service members. “Perhaps there has never been a group that is more faithful to one another than the United States Marines,” said Giuliano. “We need to take note of how they look out for one another.” |
