English: Lance Cpl. Charles D. Cho, from Lakewood, Washington, says goodbye to a preschooler during the conclusion of the “Play in English” program Sept. 19 at Namisato Nursery in Kin Town. The new program is a monthly activity where Marines teach young children the English language through song and games. “It’s just very natural, almost as if they are older brothers to the young kids,” said Yoko Nakama. “They are freely playing and interacting with big brothers, and that’s the best thing about having the volunteers from the camp.” Nakama is the director of the school. Cho is a field radio operator with 5th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, III Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, III MEF. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Diamond N.
