Summary

[edit]
Description
English: May 1995 Flood, Uptown New Orleans, Napoleon Avenue near the downtown river corner with Freret Street. Early stages of the flood - the rain continued and the water kept rising into the night. Many people parked their cars on the raised neutral grounds (medians); in some parts of this neighborhood this was sufficient elevation to keep some cars from flooding, but not others.
