Notes
  • Significance: The Beech Grove Cemetery contains more history of Muncie and Delaware County than any other area. The grounds are eligible for inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places. Since its inception in 1841, the cemetery was the only significant burial ground in Muncie for nearly a century. The 152-year-old cemetery contains many ornate family mausoleums and monuments of Muncie's early industrialists. The cemetery also contains graves of veterans from the Revolutionary War to the Vietnam War. The cemetery is of local significance.
  • Survey number: HABS IN-245
