Description
English: Prior to launch in May 1973, the Skylab space station, foreground, awaits liftoff atop a Saturn V on the Kennedy Space Center's Launch Pad 39A. To the north, is the Saturn 1B with an Apollo command-service module being prepared to launch the first crew to Skylab.
