Notes
  • Significance: Structure P is a concrete foundation from the Superior High School boiler room/gym. The structure is located atop a broad, linear ridge trending from west to east. The building is situated along the north edge of this ridge overlooking Horse Thief Draw. The building is located approximately 1/2 mile northwest of Superior. The concrete foundation represents a demolished structure. The foundation is rectangular in shape with the long axis running from east to west. Overall dimensions are 80 feet 0 inches east to west by 56 feet 5 inches north to south. Two large concrete staircases extend northward from the north wall an additional 23 feet 4 inches. The stairways are located at the east and west ends of the north wall. The stairways consist of a flight of stairs 12 feet 6 inches long leading to a platform 19 feet 8 inches long. The width of the stairways are 13 feet 9 inches. The foundation has a concrete floor. Along the west edge of the foundation is a large vertically standing concrete rectangle approximately 7 feet 6 inches long north to south by 4 feet 9 inches wide east to west.
