Description
Deutsch: Seester (Schleswig-Holstein) – Groß Sonnendeich 17 – Ehemalige Altenteilerkate – Bauzeit: 17. Jh. (Kern)

– Das Haus ist eine Altenteiler-Kate mit Reetdeckung und zweistufig verschaltem Vollgiebel. Es stammt im Kern aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. In den 1990er Jahren wurde das Gebäude umfangreich saniert, sowie mit einem Wintergarten-Anbau an der Nordseite versehen.

– Die Hofstelle Groß Sonnendeich 5 wurde inklusive aller Nebengebäude bei einem Großfeuer im Juli 2006 vollständig zerstört, wobei die etwas abseits gelegene und durch dichten Baumwuchs geschützte ehemalige Alterteilerkate vor den Flammen bewahrt werden konnte.
