Retiring Lord Mayor Mr Alfred Jones met with both new and old aldermen at City Hall for the changover of local government. Mr Jones is seated at the head of the table on the right. Other Aldermen are from left: H. Taaffe, Mr Poole, W. C. Coutts, A. Laurie, W. J. Green, T. Moores, R. A. Gray, L. W. Green, E. E. Gross and F. Dent. At the back: J. Sharp, C. Gillies and M. Kelly.
