Description
English: Family of Gustav Alfonso Steindl, Bundaberg, ca. 1900

Gustav Alfonso and Theophile Mary (nee Schulz) Steindl were Austrian by birth and arrived in Australia in 1872. See Queensland 1900, p. 93. They are pictured here with their twelve children. Back from left: Fanny, Otto Richard (Tony), Annie Matilda, Julian Mieczslaw (Disha), Sophie Josephine and Jessie. Front row : Alexandra Theodora (Lilla), Florence Clare (Florrie), father Gustav Alfonso, Gustav Alfred (seated in front), Grace Vivienne, mother Theophile Mary, Eunice Olive Constance (Connie) and Mabel Marie.
