English: St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Wickam Terrace, Brisbane, 1889
This building was the second church to be raised on the same site. It was opened on 6 November 1887 and was described as being of 'elegant design and attractive internal appearance'. At the turn of the century the land was resumed by the Railways Department, so the decision was made to erect a new church on the corner of Ann and Creek Streets to be known as St Andrew's. The second church was demolished in the 1960's. |
