Description
日本語: 基隆埠頭の第二岸壁と米の移出。基隆港は往時水淺く一千噸級の汽船すら市街地を距る一粁半の沖合に碇泊したのだが，島内の發展と呑吐貨物の增加に伴ひ次第に人工を加へられ今日に至つてゐる。今日の基隆港は三千乃至一萬順級の汽船を岸壁に十五隻、浮標に六隻，合計二十一隻を同時に繋留し得る東洋屈指の大港であるが港岸に平坦地が乏しいのと今尚發展の途上にあるため埠頭の設備は完全といはれない。殊に旅客の乘船及び上陸に對する設備は釜山大連等のそれに比し遙かに劣つてゐる。主なる積出貨物は米、砂糖、石炭、水產物、陸揚貨物は織物類、豆糟、大豆などである。圖は第二岸壁であり。（三尾良次郎，臺北高等學校教諭兼教授）
