Description
English: Trinity House jack

A Trinity House jack made of wool bunting, with a linen hoist inscribed '2ND SIZE JACK'. The jack is machine-sewn and with the design printed onto the fabric and a rope and toggle attached.

The jack bears the arms of the Corporation of Trinity House, azure, a cross gules between four ships of three masts under full sail all proper. On each sail, pendant and ensign, a cross gules and each quarter representing a sea piece. This is the flag of the Corporation and should only be called a jack when flown from a jackstaff in the bows of Trinity House vessels. The arms are used with variations on all the five flags of the Corporation.
