Description
Svenska: TRIPOD. Gravfynd. Runt kokkärl med nedre delen skålformig i tre pass som är utdragna till höga fötter. Ovanför vardera foten en rakt utstående lodrät och platt nabb med något insvängd utsida. Dekor med snöravtryck i form av vågräta linjer, mellan dessa och på botten ett tätt mönster av snedgående rader med fördjupningar. Godset är grått på utsidan och insidan har rester av gulgrå lera.Inköpt av Wilhelmina von Hallwyl, genom Orvar Karlbeck år 1923.Grey earthenware li tripod. Middle Zhou period, 9th-7th century BC.The vessel has striated impressed decoration and three flanges which refer to bronze vessel shapes, used for food. The Swedish engineer, archaeologist and antique dealer Orvar Karbeck stated that it was found in Eastern Henan province, in northern China.
