THE BERYLLIUM TECHNOLOGY FACILITY AT DOE'S LOS ALAMOS NATIONAL LABORATORY IS THE FIRST STATE-OF-THE-ART FACILITY IN THE U.S. DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR WORKING WITH BERYLLIUM. WASTE COLLECTION, AIDED BY HIGH POWERED VACUUM CONNECTIONS IS ESSENTIAL PARTICULARLY BECAUSE OF CONCERNS ABOUT CHRONIC BERYLLIUM DISEASE.
