DescriptionUnsupervised-Learning-of-Visual-Features-through-Spike-Timing-Dependent-Plasticity-pcbi.0030031.sv001.ogv |
English: Face-Feature Learning Here we presented the face-training examples in random order, propagated the corresponding spike waves, and applied the STDP rule. At the top of the screen, the input image is shown, with red, green, or blue squares indicating the receptive fields of the cells that fired (if any). At the bottom of the screen, we reconstructed the preferred stimuli of the three C2 cells. Above each reconstruction, the number of postsynaptic spikes emitted is shown with the corresponding color. The red, green, and blue cells develop selectivity to a view of, respectively, the bust, the head, and the face. |
