Description
Deutsch: Das ehemalige Hotel Kummer Ecke Mariahilfer Straße 71 A / Schadekgasse 20 im 6. Wiener Bezirk Mariahilf.
Der fünfgeschossige streng historistische Hotelbau wurde nach Plänen der Architekten Eduard Kaiser und Ludwig Tischler nach einem Entwurf von Carl Schumann ab 1870 errichtet und 1872 als „Zum goldenen Kreuz“ von Michael Kummer eröffnet. Mitte der 2010er Jahre wurde das Hotel verkauft und 2017 geschlossen. 2020 soll es nach einem Umbau und der Errichtung eines zweigeschossigen Dachaufbaus wieder als Hotel eröffnet werden.
