Shouldn't we use lossless?

For such an important recording, shouldn't we use lossless compression? I tried resampling to 44100 with

sox -V4 a11step.aiff -r 44100 --comment '' Frase_de_Neil_Armstrong.aiff rabbit -c0

then compressing it to flac with

flac --verify -8 --ogg Frase_de_Neil_Armstrong.aiff

The resulting Frase_de_Neil_Armstrong.oga was 104k . Don't you think it would be more appropriate than the present lossy vorbis compression? -- Jorge Peixoto (talk) 15:03, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

FLAC can handle 22 kHZ sampling rate just fine, I think - no need to resample. You just make it harder to compress without any other benefits.--Flugaal (talk) 21:46, 23 August 2012 (UTC)

Listen carefully! He says ... 'vast leap', not 'giant leap'!

Not that it makes a great deal of difference, but if we're going to remember the most famous line ever spoken, perhaps we ought to get it right.

"It's a small step for man, one vast leap for mankind"

Phrase/frase

@Wieralee: Yesterday, you moved this file citing "Criterion 3 (obvious error)". I don't see any obvious error there. The original filename appears to be in Spanish, and frase is the correct way to spell phrase in Spanish. The current title, "Phrase de Neil Armstrong", thus looks like an even obvious-er error.
