Publius Aelius Traianus Hadrianus (24 January 76–10 July 138), known as Hadrian in English, was Roman emperor from 117 to 138, and a member of the gens Aelia. Hadrian was the third of the "Five Good Emperors". His wife was Vibia Sabina. He was the lover of Antinous, whom he made a god after his death.
