According to the copyright law of many countries, including Germany (Ref: BvR 1571/02 1 BvR 1571/02 - 26.01.2005; text; BGH, 22.06.1995 - I ZR 119/93), folkloric works are not protected by copyright, since they are neither works of fine art nor scientific works. The object shown therefore enjoys no copyright protection. Nevertheless, the photograph of this item may be copyrighted, and so this tag alone is not sufficient.
