This template employs some extremely complicated or esoteric features of template syntax. Please do not attempt to alter it unless you are certain that you understand the setup and are prepared to repair/revert any consequent collateral damage if the results are unexpected. Any experiments should be conducted in a sandbox or your userspace.
Tag images needing rotation to alert Rotatebot to fix them, by adding:
resetexif or reset - If your image showed up properly before the October 2011 MediaWiki-update, or the full resolution of an image looks fine (only the thumbnails are wrong), then you can use "resetexif" instead of a number to request the reset of the EXIF orientation data. However, it is advised to use the correct angle (RotateLink helps) instead.
To add your language to the list of languages supported by this template, please copy the code of Template:Rotate/en (or any other language version you prefer to translate) and replace the text strings in there (the form below can be used to create a translation, the English version is preloaded in the edit box). Please change the parameter lang from en (or whatever language you are translating) to the language code of your language.
