Template talk:Author missing

It looks like this template is not correctly adding the category to the pages it is included in. Can someone take a look at that? --Waldir ^talk 11:56, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

Actually, I figured out it does add the category, but since it is hidden it doesn't show up. Perhaps hidden cats shouldn't be 100% hidden to avoid misunderstandings like this. en.wikipedia for example shows them separately, after the text "Hidden Categories:". Perhaps this was discussed here on commons and it was decided to keep them hidden, but mabe people should have a way to choose what they prefer (in the preferences, typically). Ok, my bad... it is indeed possible to choose whether the hidden cats are visible or not (as I suspected while writing my previous message, actually). Perhaps these comments can help other people who happen to follow the same line of thought in the future. --Waldir ^talk 12:09, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
