Time thing won't work[edit]

The time trick in this template won't work. This is known behaviour in mediawiki. Image tagged with this template might end up in Category:No OTRS permission after 15 days, but it could also be 30 days, no way to be sure. Multichill (talk) 13:50, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I knew this was a possibility but think we should still be okay. Lets wait and see how things look once we get going and if we need to change to daily subcategories down the line, we can. - Rjd0060 (talk) 15:30, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Counting days[edit]

This template says that files with this template may be deleted after 15 days, but the files end up in a category for files meant to be deleted after just 7 days. --Stefan4 (talk) 22:16, 20 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

{{Editprotected}}

These 15 days appear to be more of a random value than something actually policy-/consensus-based, and as files are already placed in the normal deletion category after 7 days anyway, please remove the never-active categorisation altogether ( <includeonly> {{#ifeq:{{age switch|month={{{month|{{CURRENTMONTHNAME}}}}}|day={{{day|{{CURRENTDAY}}}}}|year={{{year|{{CURRENTYEAR}}}}}}}|1|[[Category:No OTRS permission]]}}</includeonly>) and delete Category:No OTRS permission per CSD G1 and Template:Age switch per CSD T2.    FDMS  4    14:12, 6 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
 Oppose, G1 "Test page, accidental creation, or page containing nonsense or no valid content" is obviously not the case here, the category is six years old. Changing the {{Age switch}} default to another value, or just say so in {{No OTRS permission since}}, or simply get rid of it is all fine. I'd support the latter as KISS, after that category+template are in fact unused, but unused+empty is not the same as G1. But where are tagged files tracked, if not in Category:No OTRS permission? –Be..anyone (talk) 02:07, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Have you ever actually read COM:CSD#G1 (This may also include empty categories […]) or is "unused+empty is not the same as G1" just your gut feeling? In response to your categorisation question, maybe doing a few seconds of research would help.    FDMS  4    20:48, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I guess there's nothing to be done here right now. Removing edit protect. --Hedwig in Washington (mail?) 05:32, 2 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

{{Edit protected}} Shouldn't this template use {{Iffile}}? Currently it categorises anything, including project pages which aren't meant to use the template in the first place. --Stefan2 (talk) 10:39, 8 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

✓ Done Awesome! Thank you! ~riley (talk) 18:59, 8 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
