Middle and Late Bronze Age in Cyclades]]

20th-12th centuries BC

Minoan influence[edit]

Since 2000 BC Minoan influence gradually increases

Middle Cycladic Age, culture Phylakopi II

Somewhere is the interface between the Early and Middle Bronze Ages blurred (Milos, Paros), bringing havoc elsewhere (Naxos).

Někde je rozhraní mezi ranou a střední dobou bronzovou neostré (Mélos, Paros), jinde přináší zkázu (Naxos).

Mycenaean influence[edit]

Late Cycladic II period, culture Phylakopi III/2

Fading of Minoan influence and the beginning of the Mycenaean is caused by the explosion of Thera (Santorini). Various school they dated differently (17th-16th century BC, I prefer the dating before the mid of 17th century BC).

On Milos the boundary between Fylakopi III/1 and III/2 are often indistinct.

Mycenaean settlements in Cyclades[edit]

Sometimes the continuity between Mycenaean settlement and Early Iron Age. Some abandoned Mycenaean settlements are also re-colonized around 800 BC
