Unfortunately your changes really do not seem to have been an improvement (i.e. why is Burundi more Western than Australia? etc. etc.). AnonMoos (talk) 23:52, 7 October 2011 (UTC)
- That's nice -- India was a British colony until 1947, but you didn't color it... AnonMoos (talk) 00:50, 8 October 2011 (UTC)
- Whatever; the map had a useful intended purpose (to map what is culturally western), while your revisions changed it to a mish-mash which serves no ascertainable purpose. For example, Mali is pretty far west geographically, yet there is no useful sense in which it can be considered to be culturally Western, so you seem to be the one who is confused. - Perhaps no absolutely satisfactory classification is possible, but Huntington has "Western" vs. eastern Orthodox vs. Islamic vs. sub-Saharan Africa vs. "Eastern", which pretty much matches the original map. Your version doesn't appear to match anything. AnonMoos (talk) 20:32, 8 October 2011 (UTC)
Hi, I have reverted your recent upload of this map with the comment "please upload separately". See Commons:OVERWRITE. -84user (talk) 04:32, 10 October 2011 (UTC)
