All images go automatically into the category, but users have to take the trouble to post an image to a gallery. As you know, I haven't been doing this. For this VI candidate, the gallery only has this image, so could logically be supported, but the category has other images which might have been superior. I doubt all of those who support images will take the trouble to check the category - as a matter of interest, did you @Jacek Halicki: ?.
