Bahnhof Görlitz

English: The Görlitz station is the central station of Görlitz in the German Free State of Saxony. The station was opened in 1847 in the south of the town. In course of time the town had expended arround the area of the station. Today the station is the border between the inner town quarter and the southern town quarter. It is a important connecting station in the East of the Upper Lusatia. In 1993 the station was reconstructed.

Deutsch: Der Bahnhof Görlitz ist der zentrale Bahnhof der Stadt Görlitz. Er wurde im Jahr 1847 südlich der Stadt eröffnet. Im Laufe der Zeit wuchs die Stadt um das Bahnhofgelände herum, so dass er heute samt den einmündenden Bahnstrecken die Stadtteilgrenze zwischen der Innen- und Südstadt bildet. Der Bahnhof ist ein bedeutender Bahnknoten in der östlichen Oberlausitz. Die Bahnhofsgebäude wurden im Jahr 1993 grundlegend saniert.

Polski: Stacja Görlitz jest głównym dworcu kolejowym w Görlitz w Saksonii. Został otwarty w 1847 roku na południe od miasta. W 1847 roku otworzył na południe od miasta. Z biegiem czasu miasto rozrastało się wokół stacji. Dziś stanowi granicę pomiędzy centrum i dzielnica Südstadt.

English: The first station building stand between the railway line to Dresden and to Wrocław.

Deutsch: Der erste Bahnhofsbau war ein Inselbahnhof. Südlich des Gebäudes verliefen die Gleise der Sächsisch-Schlesischen Eisenbahn in Richtung Dresden und nördlich die der Niederschlesisch-Märkischen Eisenbahn nach Breslau.
