English: The Theodotus inscription is a ca. 1st century limestone dedication stone measuring 75cm x 41cm, with 10 lines of uncial Greek characters, which was discovered in 1913 by Raimond Weill on Mt Ophel. It is currently at the Rockefeller Museum, Jerusalem, inventory no. S 842. It records that Theodotus, son of Vettanos, built the synagogue, hostel, rooms and water installation.
