Őshajó (lit. Ancient boat or ship) by Tamás Varga is a 4.5m high, 4m wide, 7m long, 17 ton, 2001 works Bronze abstract sculpture on limestone base 'sitting' on a artficial mound, built of earth and rock with vegetation planned by Ambrus Pirk (landscape and garden architect engineer), the Figurehead of the 'ship' is a winged figure (angel?) the sizeable 'wings' of its are the 'ship' deck railings, the Figurehead is on cca. five meter high from ground level. The monument located on site of the former Liberation Monument (1965 work, demolished under the new political regime) and the Soviet monument (1947 work, the revolutionaries destroyed it in 1956) Béke Square in Angyalföld neighbourhood, Budapest District XIII.
