Category:11th Medical Group

The 11th Medical Group was activated on June 16, 2017. It received the entire heritage of the 79th Medical Wing, just deactivated a few moments before. In other words, the wing was made a group of another wing. The distinctions are mainly rational, as the organizations and their facilities remained mainly the same. There are some name changes: the 79th is gone. Its former groups became squadrons, The full implications of the changes may not be implemented in the Air Force, but they are certainly not implemented in Commons Categories. For the time being, the 79th categories will appear under the 11th Wing until corrections can be made.
