1932 Alvis 12/60 boattail UK license "KV286". According to Alvisarchive:[1] Type TL, model 12/60. Chassis 9294, engine 9833, car number 14204, body number 3962, designated as "2 seater sports" and despatched on 14/1/1932.
Designed by Captain George T. Smith-Clarke (1884–1960)[2] who was chief engineer at Alvis. Body has a "boat tail" or "beetle back", built by the Carbodies coachwork company located very near Alvis on Holyhead Road, Coventry.[3]
