    • TeleNic (Apr 28, 2010): "I'm guessing the NOS means New Old Stock, but what does New Old Stock mean? Same question for VOS."
    • built4speed (Apr 28, 2010): "New Old Stock means new (never purchased or used), but old stock (i.e. manufactured in a previous year). For example, if a dealer has a 2005 model in stock, brand new, never been purchased, then it would be termed NOS. / VOS I'm not sure of. Vintage Old Stock maybe?"
    • Bengal65 (Apr 28, 2010): "VOS, is Vintage Original Specification, popularized by Gibson."
